The study undertook a vulnerability assessment of the current water resource system in Georgia and formulated recommendations for adaptation strategies in the water and agriculture sectors.

The project also identified robust investments and assessed the benefits of adaptation. The findings informed the Country Climate and Development Report (CCDR) for Georgia contributing to several chapters of the Georgia CCDR, including the modeling of the impact of climate change on Georgia. As part of this project, we built a National Water Resource System model of the Georgia water resource system and a SWAT+ rainfall runoff model to generate climate change impacted flow scenarios.
