This project aims to help the city address water supply challenges intensified by climate change and recent droughts, by developing a roadmap and financing plan for resilient, long-term water investments.
Nexsys Analytics is leading the technical delivery and applying advanced decision-making methodologies to assess climate and non-climate risks. The work includes developing and running water system simulation models, conducting vulnerability and trade-off analyses, creating adaptive investment roadmaps, and synthesising data and engaging stakeholders.
Nexsys will also provide hands-on training and online tools to ensure local stakeholders can use and update the models, supporting Bogotá’s ongoing capacity to plan for water security in an uncertain future.
